We are currently looking for an experienced Product Owner to work in our Krakow, Poland location. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the latest technological advances that will transform mobility toward the future. We are looking for someone with a good automotive systems and software understanding who has the capability to lead an Agile team of specialists in customer pursuits. You are a self-starter that is able to resolve ambiguity and provide focus across multiple domains of expertise.

Your role:

  • Define, plan, and prioritize the product backlog in cooperation with stakeholders
  • Define and estimate user stories and schedule them for sprints within the Scrum team
  • Optimize work and value of SW engineering teams, manage progress of sprint and delivery dates, milestones, and budget
  • Define product quality strategy and measures for quality assurance
  • Functional leadership of Scrum teams in multiple international locations
  • Review of progress and reporting to the project and/or line organization
  • Management of suppliers and contractors
  • Contribution to quote activities for new or changed embedded SW systems
  • Functional responsibility in the scope of SW change management
  • Development of SW requirements for systems based on customer specifications and product architectures
  • Continuous alignment with customer
  • Directly modify or specify new components of autonomous driving SW to ensure it meets customer design and performance requirements for AD system development and validation
  • Research, analyze, and assist in the implementation of innovative methods to develop SW solutions for autonomous driving, which increases value to the customer
  • Gather customer feedback for software design engineers to solve customer issues and implement new solutions to satisfy customer needs related to AD system development, validation, and testing
  • Confer with engineers and other personnel to determine the root cause and resolve system malfunctions, implement operating procedures, and provide technical information to the customer
  • Maintain customer/supplier contact and assist in Supplier Management
  • Contribute to product quotes, various reports, and presentations
  • Continue to stay current in training in the latest technology

Key Requariements

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Automotive, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics preferred
  • Expertise in Scrum based Agile engineering methodology
  • Expertise in designing and modeling complex SW systems
  • Experience in ADAS or autonomous driving development is a big plus
  • Team lead experience is beneficial
  • Programming experience in C, C++ or Java
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English. This role interacts with both external customers and internal management
  • Ability to see the “big picture” and understand how individual tasks interconnect and impact other parts of the development process
