We lead the global development of Aptiv's rear view camera, and bird’s eye view systems, satellite crash sensors and seat belt reminder systems.
We supported Shanghai General Motors on the new GL8, one of the top three best-selling SUVs in the Chinese market in 2017, with advanced ADAS systems including full speed adaptive cruise control, automated emergency breaking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning and forward collision warning. The technologies have been realigned to be adaptive to the driving environment and driving habits in the Chinese market.
Aptiv’s China Technical Center is home to more than 400 engineers. It’s here where our team supports activities including advanced engineering, new product development and engineering localization, leveraging Aptiv's technological expertise across the globe.
