A new 5-story building was put into service in July 2018 housing labs and offices for the engineers.
Suzhou Technical Center was founded in 2014. In a short three years' time it has grown from 38 employees in 2014 to more than 400 by the end of 2017. We are expanding our Technical Center in Suzhou and plan to add another 300 engineers in the next few years.
The Aptiv Technical Center in Suzhou is a key development center for user experience product lines for Asia Pacific.

 

Tech Center Suzhou

Suzhou Technical Center employs about 400 engineers with diverse competencies comprising software, hardware, systems, manufacturing, testing and validation engineering.

They help to develop advanced safety, infotainment, user experience, vehicle connectivity and security systems for  next generation vehicle platforms.

 

 

"Venice of the East"

Suzhou has over 2,500 years of history, with abundant sites of historical interest. Suzhou has been a national economic, cultural and commercial center in China since the Song Dynasty in the 10th century. The famous Italian explorer Marco Polo nicknamed the city “Venice of the East.” Suzhou is about 100 kilometers northwest of Shanghai.

It is known for its canals, stone bridges, pagodas, and meticulously designed Chinese classical gardens which make Suzhou one of the top tourist attractions in China. The gardens of Suzhou were added to the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1997 and 2000.
