Barron’s: Aptiv is Helping Make Self-Driving Cars a Reality
Barron’s took a closer look into self-driving vehicle companies and featured both Aptiv and Motional, the joint venture between Aptiv and Hyundai Motor Company.
The publication noted that Aptiv, with a focus on vehicle electrification and software for autonomous driving, “can sell auto makers a complete Level 2 autonomous-driving system or just the components for one.”
Motional is operating today on the Lyft network in Las Vegas with its self-driving vehicles and has completed more than 100,000 rides. The article highlights the experience in one of the self-driving vehicles and the benefits of its sensors, including radars, cameras and lidars.
