There are four primary variants of the ADAS platform – Core, Plus, Pro and Ultra – that meet the requirements of vehicles ranging from entry-level to premium. But even within that framework, the platform has extraordinary flexibility, supporting different SoC and architectural configurations, software and hardware updates, and OCI-compliant containers that enable software to run on the most suitable device. And the platform is always evolving, as Aptiv’s deep understanding of global regulatory requirements and rating agency roadmaps ensures the platform is ideally suited to current and future ADAS needs.
Aptiv’s Gen 6 ADAS platform is available both as a turnkey solution and as individual components. Our intelligent approach to the full system results in up to 25% lower cost and 60% lower energy consumption than typical alternatives – but each piece of the platform is designed to add value to any ADAS configuration.

High Performance and Strong Value
Our first-generation ADAS on the Jeep Grand Cherokee was one of three high-content Aptiv systems to earn top marks in a recent independent, third-party study. The study included both qualitative and quantitative assessments of multiple aspects of the system, including lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and HMI performance. The Jeep system scored the highest in multiple categories and was specifically highlighted for its strong value — delivering consistently high performance at a more affordable price point.
