About FIRST
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1989. Its mission is to inspire youth from pre-K through high school to be science and technology leaders and innovators by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs. The Aptiv Foundation is one of FIRST’s founding sponsors and has contributed more than $2 million to support FIRST events, competitions and alumni scholarships.
